Preparing and developing various programs in the field of student affairs.
Implementing approved policies and guidelines related to student welfare services and dormitories.
Organizing the necessary plans to establish effective communication between faculty members and students.
Planning for student accommodation, formulating the relevant regulations, providing and managing student dormitories, and overseeing related disciplinary matters.
Providing services related to financial aid and student loans for eligible students.
Handling matters related to the settlement of Student Welfare Fund loans.
Supervising and coordinating all student affairs within faculties and academic departments.
Monitoring the proper administration of student dining services and dormitories in terms of quality, quantity, nutrition, and environmental health.
Planning for the engagement of students in various activities and assignments.
Planning for the effective use of students’ leisure time and promoting their physical and mental well-being.
Supervising counseling services and providing the necessary academic, career, and personal guidance to students.
Conveying students’ views and suggestions to the relevant university authorities.
Assessing the staffing, procurement, and equipment needs of subordinate units and reporting them to the relevant university authorities or other competent bodies.
Performing any other duties assigned by higher authorities.
